I have been looking forward to this post for a while! Today is the day we share the first batch of images sent from our customers and friends. They are what we call…..
ROCK STAR FISHIES!!!! We love our rock stars and love seeing what you have made. So, if you have something you want to send in to be a Rock Star Fishie, we would love to see them! You can send them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or share them with us on our Facebook page.
So here we go!
Here are some lovely things that Kristen Roylance made from Sugar and Spice and Sweet Divinity:
Kristen owns her own pattern company called Cute Quilt Patterns. You can find her stuff HERE.
And these are by Katarzyna Shonemann from Germany! I actually got to meet her last March. It was so fun! That’s us in the bottom of the three pictures:
Here is are some awesome Madhuri projects from Mary Miller. She is getting lot so compliments on that elephant bag!!!
You can find more Mary HERE.
And this will be our last Rock Star for the day, but I still have a lot more to share! In case you wondered how Sugar and Spice sold out so fast, our next Rock Star Fishie will have the answer….
These projects are ALL from Deonn Stott!!!!
Those are all a collection of "Snippets" from/for the Sewing Room - including a tissue cozy, a snappy eyeglass case, thread catcher pincushion, cardholder, and laminate bag. You can find free tutorials on her blog for the above projects. She also made this:
The pattern is called Throw Me a Curve and is available on Craftsy.
So what do we have in store for our fabulous Rock Star Fishies? Well, for anyone that sends us THREE or more projects from my fabric or patterns, they will get one of these:
A Rock Star Fishie necklace. These are made in small batches. Each batch will be different. This is what the first batch will look like. We will also send each Rock Star a piece of fabric that we would like them to sign and send back (we will provide envelope and stamp). When we get them back, we will start making a quilt with them. I am excited to have a Rock Star Fishie quilt so that I can think of my Rock Stars every time I look at it.
So, Deonn and Kristen, send me your address! You can email it to email@example.com. For those of you who have sent pictures in that I haven’t featured, or for the two that I have, you can send more! It is a cumulative process, so three total projects sent at any time (together or separate) will count.
What is the reason I am doing this? I love you! I love my customers, my supporters, my fans. I want to give you a little something back!
