Happy Friday, Fishies! Keep reading for a SUPER COOL giveaway!!! (it’s in all caps so it must be awesome, right??)
Have you ever been to the Craftsy website?? Let me tell you. If you haven’t been, you better go! I love this site and I LOVE the classes they offer. I have taken two of their classes, one of which they gave to me as a special gift a few weeks ago. It was my goal to have my project from that class finished, but I couldn’t make it happen. But let me tell you…I AM LOVING this class!
The class is called Quilt-as-you-go Patchwork Bags and it is taught by Tara Rebman. Now, in case you don’t know, what happens at Craftsy is that you buy an online class, then you can watch it (it is broken into sections) and work at your own pace. There is a place to ask questions and read what other people have asked. It is an
amazing format and I really really love the way that it works. They have some really awesome quilting classes in addition to this class, too.
Tara teaches some fun quilt-as-you-go techniques and
I borrowed this picture from Craftsy so you could see a picture of what the class is.
And here is a picture of my in-process project
Do you want to WIN one of these classes??? I bet you do! Here is how to do it. Go to this LINK, sign up to be a member of Craftsy (free) and you will be entered to win. Simple, right? Even if you already have a Craftsy account you can use your existing login information to be entered. (If you have trouble seeing the giveaway page, using Firefox should help.)
One entry per person.
And just to add some frosting to this delicious cake, I will send you fabric to use to make your bag! I will send you the lining for the inside of the bag and a bunch of pieces to make scraps from for the outside of the bag. The rest of the supplies will be up to you to purchase or find in your stash.
Pretty sweet deal, right!?!?!
You better go enter now, because this will only run for ONE WEEK! So this ends next Friday, July 5th. HURRY!!
I will be posting updates on my blog and on facebook as I work on my project, so be sure to follow along. And maybe poke me with a stick if I seem like I am going slow.
Good luck little fishies!!!!
