I am sure that, as you have visited blogs and websites, you have seen lots of market pictures. Well, not to be a total drag, but I am going to show you mine, too! The only really truly sad thing about my pictures is that they are all of my booth. That isn’t because I am biased, it is only because I NEVER left the booth long enough to take any pictures of anyone else! In fact, I didn’t even see half of the show. So, you are going to get a very one dimensional view of market from me. My apologies!
Here is a picture of the booth. I purchased a double booth this time, but I swear…we might need three next time! This was a rare moment when it wasn’t jam packed with people.
Mr. Fish and my good friend Ryan made me these spools. Gigantic thread spools of my fabric. We used them to display things on.
One of the very best parts of this market was having the majority of my creative team there! We had a blast together. It was a laugh a minute.
From left: Robbie (honorary team member), Jackie, Jana, Me, my bestie Kayce, Brooke, Candice and Stephanie.
This is what happens when you have eight people taking shifts in the booth:
The reason the booth was hopping was because we were making necklaces from the new An Apple A Day book. Here are the cute girls from Pink Door Fabrics making theirs…
And here is the necklace you got to make if you were a store owner:
It was designed by team member Jackie White and is available in our book An Apple A Day.
Team member Jana designed these cute Converse (the ones with pink laces) at the Converse website. We each had our own ID on the back. We got lots of compliments on them! You can even have your own pair. Just click here to see our design!
You can see the giant mess behind our shoes. This was a last minute picture (missing Jana and Brooke). We had to get it in before we left the convention center.
This is my bestie. I absolutely hate to take pictures with her because she is gorgeous. But I hate doing market without her. She is my glue when I am there. She holds me together, does my hair, tells me when I have something in my teeth, makes me change my clothes if I look bad. She is the best. No girl ever had a bestie better than mine.
Well, like I said. One dimensional. But hey, it was a little look at least, right?
