If you have been following my blog for a while, you may be familiar with Elliot. If you are not familiar with Elliot, I will give you a brief introduction. Elliot goes with us to market and visits people, gets into trouble, and has a fantastic time. He certainly is entertainment for us! We love having him along. Today, Elliot joined us at market, wearing his newly rented tuxedo.
I must say that whoever fitted him for his tux must have been very bad at his job. Let’s just say that he isn’t very comfortable. Poor guy. Anyway….
Elliot didn’t get up to much today, but he did stop by the Riley Blake booth to take a look at the Sweet Divinity story board.
While we were at Riley Blake (which is actually right across from us) he thought we should take more pictures of their booth.
Elliot and I are super excited about “Sew Together”, a wonderfully fantastical array of trims and embellishments from Riley Blake. Including GIANT pop pop trim, crocheted flowers, zippers by the yard, buttons and ribbons that coordinate with the fabric lines.
Look at the great Sweet Divinity set up they have in the Riley Blake booth….
After our tour of the Riley Blake booth, we walked back across the aisle to our booth.
The next quilt pictured here is called Verna’s Flower Quilt and is a free pattern on Moda Bake Shop. I modified the pattern for fat quarters and yardage. If you would like to make one for yourself, I will put the modified instructions in the next post.
Elliot and I will have more to show tomorrow. So stop back by and see what kind of mischief we get into!
