Well, as you probably have guessed we are home. Somewhere in the transition from the Happiest Place on Earth to home, I got sick. Lost my voice, stuffy head, headache sick. Yuck. I don’t have time for sick. There are only 52 days until market and sick is NOT on the agenda. Never the less, here I am…in bed. At least I have my laptop for company.
Do you want to see how much fun we had?
My girls said this was there favorite part. Mind you, it was the last thing we did before we left. They weren’t happy at me for washing it off.
Too old for a stroller? Yep. But he still wanted one. Maybe because he wanted to fly it.
Thank heavens this time he got picked to do Jedi training. Can you believe he can fight Darth Vader single handed? Strong in the force, this one is.
The whole entire gang. Three grandparents, three kids and two parents.
The girls after their princess makeovers. Did you know that princesses have pink hair? Me either. This was quite the revelation. I am not sure which princess started the trend, but I would like to have a wee chat with her. They loved this, though. They were met at the entrance by their fairy godmother who took them to a dressing room to change into their princess dresses. Then they got their hair and makeup done and finally pictures in Cinderella’s coach. It was a lot of fun for them. I seriously would have given my right leg for something like this when I was young.
Our family with McQueen and Mater. McQueen is Mr. Fish’s favorite Disney character because he has lots of horsepower.
We had a great time. I am hoping to recover fully from the experience soon. We thought we were picking a great week to go, but apparently it was spring break in Anaheim. Honestly! I can’t stand to wait in lines, so we would go as early as we could and practically run from one thing to the next. As soon as the lines got bad and it was crowded we would leave or go to a show. It worked out pretty good except that it took us 5 days to ride all of the rides that we wanted to with the kids. It was great to have grandparents there, though, because me and Mr. Fish sneaked out at night and rode the more adult rides. It was the first time we have been able to do that.
Well, I guess it is back to work. In bed. With a box of tissues. And Nyquil. Okay, okay…..I’m going.
